Introduction

God is raising an army of women in all the nations of the world.  This is part of Joel Army portrayed in Joel 2:1-11.  God’s army cannot and will never be defeated.  It is an army that will take care of His work.  It is an army He can trust to carry out His instructions, an army He can rely on.  Women Intercessors for the Church and the Nations (the Wailing Women Worldwide) is a vital detachment of this army commissioned by the Lord Himself.  As an effective force, the Wailing Women Team in your city/nation should function as a disciplined and dependable army that He can deploy at any
time. It is an army that will submit to Him without question. It is a global confrontational army recruited by the Holy Spirit to intercede for families, people, groups, and nations.  Our mandate is to root out wickedness in every form.  “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build and to plant” Jeremiah 1:10

What is discipline?

Discipline is defined as the practice of training people to obey rules and abide by a specified code of conduct.  It is defined as “controlled behavior” resulting from such training.  Discipline involves training in obedience and self-control. This may be achieved by constant training, nourishment, and adherence to strict rules.

Who is a soldier

A soldier is a person serving in an army.  A soldier is military personnel (not a civilian) who has been duly enlisted with a responsibility to defend the territorial integrity of his nation.  As a Wailing Woman you have been enlisted in God’s
worldwide end-time army. (Read Jeremiah 9:17-21; Isaiah 41:15; Micah 4:13).

1. Training:

Before you can be enlisted in the army, you must go through a series of tests.  These tests help toughen the soldier and prepare him for the rugged life in the frontlines.  The training is in endurance, toughness, bravery, loyalty, obedience, and sensitivity.  If you do not want to be dropped in the selection process, you must work hard to pass all the prescribed tests.

2. Boldness:

You are not supposed to be intimidated by anything. Neither should you be seen to be timid or afraid.  “And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today: for the Egyptians who ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever”  Exodus 14:13. (Isaiah 8:12; 35:4; 41:10)

3. Swiftness:

A soldier should always be ready to carry out commands even when these commands are not pleasant or convenient.  You don’t have to give excuses, for the master’s business demands urgency.  Describing the Joel’s Army, The Bible says, “They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief” (Joel 2:9).

4. Courage:

A soldier should be courageous.  He should always show determination even in the face of adversity, opposition, affliction, threat to life or death itself.  A soldier should have courage to face every situation in life.

5. Accuracy:

A soldier should be precise and accurate.  Every information a good soldier gives should be reliable and such that can be used without distortion.

6. Knowledge:

A soldier must have a good knowledge of the military formation or unit that he belongs to.  As an intercessor you must know what God has called you into and then take time to train to do your job properly.  Know what the move of the Wailing Women is all about.  Study your Bible, The Operational Handbook, The Training Manuals, and Words from the Father’s Heart.  Be regular at meetings and ask God to give you a revelation of the scriptures in Jeremiah 9:7-21; 1 Cor.1:26-31; 2Tim.2:3-5. Know what is happening in the world by listening to news, reading
newspapers and magazines.

7. Ability to Understand and Decode Signals:

A soldier must learn to understand and decode signals.  More importantly, the soldier must learn to keep the line of communication between himself, his headquarters, and other members of his unit open.  As you pray, you will receive spiritual signals.  Know when there is war. Get instructions and direction from God.

8. Loyalty:

A soldier must be loyal to authority.  Disloyalty attracts punishment.  Do whatever you are asked to do without questioning.

9. Training and Discipline:

A soldier should be orderly and well behaved.  A soldier should not break ranks.  There should be no jostling, fighting, quarrelling, murmuring, strife, contention, envy, malice, etc.  A good soldier should have controlled eating habits.  He should maintain a healthy body and eat a balanced diet.

10. Honesty:

A soldier should be always truthful.  In this army, God commands us to speak the truth in love and refrain from every form of hypocrisy and lying.  Ephesians 4:15,25.

11. Obedience:

A soldier should always obey the last command.  Obeying instructions is prime to a soldier.  You must obey the laws, rules, and promptings of the Holy Spirit.  In the army, you cannot question orders because the Commander is always right.

12. Diligence and Focus:

A soldier must be diligent, focused, and thorough in doing his work.  It takes diligence to hearken to God and keep His commandments.

13. National Sentiments:

A good soldier should be detribalized (not tribalistic).  God is raising a global, multi-cultural and detribalized army.  Color, tribe, tongue, race, and language should not stand as barriers.  Teams of Wailing Women in each country should learn to see the whole nation as their constituency. A good soldier must be patriotic.

14. Time Management:

In the army, there is no time to waste.  Every minute counts.  Timing is very important.  Late coming is not tolerated.  A good soldier has no time for distractions.

15. Vigilance:

A soldier is trained to be observant and to have an eagle’s eye. As we keep watch over our city walls, God will ask us this question:  “;…watchman, what of the night?  Watchman, what of the night?” (Isaiah 21:11). When He comes to ask that question, will you be able to answer and say like Habakkuk: “;I will stand  upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved” (Habakkuk: 2:1).

16. Wisdom to Observe Spiritual Protocol:

A soldier should know the hierarchy of authority and strictly respect the
chain of command.  A soldier must learn to relate to officers in the rank and file, not because of age, tribe or status, but by the office they occupy.  By this authority structure, a junior officer should not disrespect or disregard those immediately above him. Respect your leaders, even if they are younger, less educated, etc. He should report to them and take orders from them.

17. Endurance:

A good soldier must learn to endure hardship.  Sufferings and challenges are part of the training required to make you withstand the rigors of the job.  i.e., sleeping in trenches, staying under the rain or sun, etc.  “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (II Timothy.2:3)

18. Commitment:

It is required of a good soldier to be committed to the defense of his nation.  Great commitment and undivided loyalty are qualities that are required in this work.

19. Selflessness and Steadfastness:

No soldier focuses on his own interests.  The focus of every soldier is to bring victory to win the battle.” Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Cor. 15:58).

20. Secretiveness:

A soldier must keep secrets.  This could be highly classified and coded messages about very sensitive things in the nation.  Privileged information that God gives you regarding leaders, places and events in your nation must be secret.  No flippancy.

21. Good Marksmanship:

A soldier who aims to win in battle must learn to shoot at the target.  He does not shoot randomly or aimlessly.

22. Physical Fitness:

A soldier needs to exercise regularly to be physically fit.  No disability is allowed in the army.  You need good eyesight, perfect hearing, alertness of mind, all round agility. No lame, blind, deaf or dump person is allowed in the army. (Leviticus 21:17-23)

23. Espirit De Corp:

This is the ingredient that makes the army a family unit of caring men who are ready to die for each other.  It is the spirit of camaraderie which means friendship, amity, companionship, solidarity, fellowship, company, or comradeship. In the army, the unwritten motto is “One for all and all for one.”  One officer could jeopardize his life to save the others.  Jesus is the example we should follow.  Read John 15:12-17.

24. Eating Habits:

No Heavy or Peppery food in the Morning before Drills: A good soldier must not eat heavy food or food that is very peppery in the morning.  This is to avoid unpleasant reactions during parade such as vomiting, stomach upset, etc.  Depending on how early drills takes place in the morning, it is better not to eat at all or eat a very light breakfast. Eat the right kind of Food (light Breakfast and Fruits) in the Morning to build up stamina: A good soldier must learn to eat well and eat fresh food and plenty of fruits, vegetables, and good protein. Wailing Women, if they want to last in this army should take fruits such as Bananas, Pineapples, Oranges, Watermelon because these contain water. This is to avoid dehydration. Note: Please avoid eating mangos before going for drills in the morning.  It will give you problems.

25. The Importance of Exercise/Elementary Drill to a Good Soldier:

• Every good soldier must submit to elementary drills and physical exercise as often as necessary.  This is to firm up his body muscles, sharpen his mind and help him remain coordinated.
• The elementary drills are necessary and important because they.
– Help the soldier to know his left from his right
– Equip him to function properly because he knows his bearings

The Importance of Exercise/Elementary Drill to a Good Soldier (Continued):

– Prepare the soldier to recognize commands, caution, and execution
– Help the soldier’s reflexes (to coordinate signals with a trained and alert mind).  A disoriented person cannot be a good
soldier.
• Physical exercise builds stamina.  This is really what distinguishes a soldier from a civilian in the sense that a soldier’s muscles are firmed up and his body is kept in good shape.
• Elementary drills are to the soldier what milk is to a baby.  No soldier can function properly without regular drills.

Things that a disciplined soldier should avoid like a plague:

a) Strife:  This is the chief agent of disunity if allowed to thrive, strife alone is enough to weaken, disorganize and defeat the army even without engaging the enemy.  Learn more how to deal with the spirit of strife in Words from the Father’s Heart. Vol.1,2,3, &4.

b) Gossip: This is speaking evil about others, spreading rumors and lies.  Remember; God will judge all gossips.
c) Presumption and Friendly Fire: Presumption can be defined as the act of supposing a thing to be true when it is not. Presumption makes you take things for granted.  It gives you liberty to do to others what you wouldn’t want them to do to you.  Friendly fire is the deadly arrow of firing shots at a fellow soldier in your unit either by mistake or through presumption.  Whatever the cause, friendly fire is dangerous.  It can kill just like the enemy’s bullet.  So learn never to
engage in friendly fire.  You will only damage your unit and expose every other team member to danger.  Unity, team spirit and forgiveness and a desire to esteem and defend each other is the greatest antidote to the hurt that result from
friendly fire.

d) Breaking Ranks: Every soldier in this army must learn to play her part stay within her own area of jurisdiction.  Do not try to work in another man’s allotted plot.
e) The Spirit of Contention: The word contention means a dispute or argument which brings rivalry.  Contention is a spirit.  It is a terrible and quarrelsome spirit which often goes along with its two sisters – pride and arrogance. “Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advise is wisdom” (Prov. 13:10). Contention always brings disagreement (Acts 15:36-41), division (1Cor. 1:11-13) and slows down the work.  The best way to do this work is to avoid contentious
issues and minimize controversies.  “But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain” (Titus3:9) The antidote to strife and contention is to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God (Rom.12:18-21)

26. Victory:

Victory in the army is collective. It is not about one person. No boasting

27. Dress Code:

The dress code must be maintained while in service. It distinguishes you from a civilian. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

28. Divisions in the Army: Army

Army has every profession you can think of…Doctors, electrician, masons, etc. It is important to locate and know your area of calling and put in the very best of your skills. Nothing less than the best is good enough. In the move of the Wailing Women Worldwide, God has set up various divisions. He calls it a Global Institution with Faculties, Departments, Units etc.
